KALLFASS Verpackungsmaschinen GmbH has been developing and manufacturing film packaging machines at its headquarters in Nürtingen since 1967. The product range includes side sealing machines, two-side sealing machines, forming-shoulder machines, banding and bundling machines, angle sealing machines, bagging and film insertion machines, as well as shrink tunnels and accessories such as conveyor belts, gripper feed systems, stacking stations and film folding units. The systems process PE, PP, polyolefin and PLA films as well as heat-sealable paper, pack in full wrap, as a band or under a modified atmosphere (MAP), and achieve output classes of up to 160 cycles per minute. The construction uses welded steel tube frames with compressed-air-free operation and premium components; according to the manufacturer, availability in multi-shift operation exceeds 98.5%. Fields of application include industry, consumer goods, food, medical/pharmaceutical, logistics/e-commerce as well as banknotes and security papers. A service network with branches in Nürtingen, Ratingen, Saverne (France) and Alpharetta (USA) supports the systems deployed worldwide.
