About kalwar
kalwar is a family-owned company in mechanical and plant engineering specializing in the surface treatment of industrially manufactured materials. The portfolio includes corona treatment systems for single- and double-sided film webs, foams, sheet materials as well as plastic tubes and profiles, plasma systems for the activation and fine cleaning of three-dimensional molded parts, systems for the functionalization and coating technology of films, surface analysis and sensor technology, as well as recycling systems and high-voltage generators. Materials treated include plastics such as PP, PS, PE, PC, PVC and HDP, films made of BOPP, OPP and cast, PE/PP foams, composites, fiberboard, wood, metals and composite materials. The systems are integrated inline in production lines, e.g. in printing and laminating lines, with working widths of up to 9,000 mm and production speeds of over 1,000 m/min. Customer industries include automotive, printing, food, construction, packaging and pharmaceutical industries as well as microelectronics, optics and aerospace.
