About KVT
KVT (Kanzler Verfahrenstechnik) is a process engineering company founded in Graz by Walter Kanzler in 1992, 100 % family-owned, with around 300 employees in the KVT Group. The company develops and implements industrial plants in three areas: production technologies for chemicals from renewable raw materials (including glycerin refining BIOCERINE, the EPIPROVIT epichlorohydrin process, and the bio-plasticizer OLEOSOFT), Wet Sulfuric Acid Technology (OXYSULF) for sulfuric acid production from sulfur-containing exhaust gases, and environmental technology for exhaust gas purification as well as wastewater and sludge treatment (SEABRINE, THERMODEC, THERMOX, CHLOROX, CATOX, LILEX). KVT offers the full range of services from feasibility studies through process, mechanical and electrical engineering to commissioning, acting as licensor and EPC/EPCM contractor. Over 250 completed projects in more than 30 countries demonstrate its work in industries such as chemicals, refineries, natural gas processing, and the viscose, metallurgical and steel industries. The Graz site houses the headquarters with engineering, laboratory and pilot plants; the Research & Innovation Center is located in St. Radegund near Graz.
