About Kapp surgical
Kapp surgical GmbH develops and produces medical technology instruments for orthopedics and spinal surgery. The company, founded in 1982 by Dietmar Kapp in Dürbheim near Tuttlingen, manufactures a standard range of pliers, punches, needle holders, hammers, chisels, bone levers, elevators, and wound hooks, as well as customized new developments. Manufacturing is performed using modern CNC and CAD/CAM technology; the design and development department is networked with the CNC machines. In addition to production, the company offers feasibility studies, patent searches, risk analyses, prototype construction, and pilot series. The entire production is focused on precision, quality, and flexibility; materials such as stainless steel and carbide inserts are used. As a producer of medical device-compliant products according to Directive 2017/745, the company is certified according to DIN EN ISO 13485.
