Since 1946, Karl Ayen Maschinenfabrik GmbH has been developing and manufacturing precision machines for woodworking and wood finishing in Mössingen. The product range includes plug-patching machines of the ALOMAT series (AL100, AL200, AL310 including variants for resin pockets), plug-producing machines for resin pocket plugs (HFA4) and cross-grain wooden discs (QZF10/QZF21/QZF22), radial drilling and milling machines of the ABMH66 series, as well as knot-hole drilling machines. The offering is complemented by dowel drilling, hole-row and hardware drilling machines, dowel hole drilling and dowel insertion machines, and processing modules (drilling, milling and sawing modules, multi-spindle drilling heads, the purely electric pushrod drilling unit RESBOR). In addition to machines, the company supplies matching drills and milling cutters made of HSS, carbide and SP steel, performs complete overhauls of machines in its own plant with AYEN original parts and CE conformity, sells fully overhauled used machines, and develops custom special versions. Areas of application include solid wood finishing, interior fitting, the sawmill and timber industry, and the woodworking trade.
