The company
Karl Eschrich GmbH is a fourth-generation family business that has been manufacturing bottles and jars from glass tubing since 1926. The company is located in Haselbach near Sonneberg, in the heart of the Thuringian Forest, a region with a long tradition of glass manufacturing and processing. The products, printed or unprinted, serve as packaging for products from the pharmaceutical, chemical, cosmetic, food, and perfume/flavour industries. Production runs on a three-shift basis with an annual capacity of over 200 million glass bottles. In addition to processing glass tubing into fire-polished glass (rim-sealed), roll-on glass, threaded glass, and plugs, the company offers printing as a finishing option as well as customised packaging tailored to customer requirements. Quality is ensured by camera systems at all production stages and a final inspection under the measuring projector. Customers are supplied both nationally and internationally.
