Karl F. Buchheister e.K. is a family-run company in its third generation, founded in Sundern in 1922, and manufactures made-to-measure curtain and internal sun protection systems. The portfolio includes curtain tracks, wave systems, roller blinds, pleated roller blinds, double roller blinds, pleated blinds and built-in roller blinds – some motorised and with smart home connectivity. Production is carried out as made-to-measure order manufacturing using materials such as aluminium and premium fabrics; historically the roots lie in wood turning. With a three-brand strategy, the company serves the premium and trade brand buchheister inspiring rooms, the retail brand ARTdeco and the DIY brand mydeco; since 2019 the acoustics brand LAUTLOZ has complemented the range.
