Karl Gehr Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH manufactures plastic articles for price labelling and sales promotion as well as labelling systems for warehouse logistics. The product range includes sign holders, displays, sleeves, bent parts, cut-to-size blanks, timetable pockets and technical punched parts for industry. Processing is carried out by bending, welding (including high-frequency welding), cutting, drilling, punching and screen printing; PVC, PET and acrylic glass (PMMA) are processed in various colours, surfaces and finishes. With its own in-house design and production department, the company offers custom manufacturing from design through prototype production and costing to series production and can respond to short-notice enquiries. Founded in 1926 in Mannheim, the company has been based in Bad Wimpfen since January 2024. Its principles are consistent quality, environmental protection, efficient use of energy and materials, and reliable delivery.

- 1926
Foundation of the company Karl Gehr in Mannheim; initially trading in celluloid goods, predominantly tortoiseshell dolls.
- 1946
After wartime destruction, a new start in Bonfeld; transformation from a trading company into a manufacturing business.
- 1951
Conversion into a general partnership (OHG); start of production of household profiles and related products.

Restructuring into Karl Gehr Kunststoffverarbeitung GmbH; manufacture of plastic articles for price labelling and in-house labelling.
- 2013
Acquisition by Erich Proisl, who moved to Bonfeld with Georgii-Plastic GmbH (high-frequency welding).
