About Metalltechnik Ewald
Karl-Josef Ewald GmbH (Metalltechnik Ewald) is a family-owned company founded in 1879, headquartered in Jettingen-Scheppach, employing around 95 staff at two plants. The company produces sheet metal formed parts, welded assemblies and ready-to-install components as well as complete solutions from steel and metal for the automotive, mechanical engineering, special machinery and agricultural machinery industries, as well as for craft businesses. The value chain includes flame cutting, laser cutting, sawing, punching, folding and bending, robot and manual welding (MIG/MAG, TIG, spot welding), 3- and 5-axis machining, surface grinding, blasting technology, in-house wet painting, and assembly. Powder coating, KTL (cataphoretic coating), electroplating and hot-dip galvanizing are offered through partner companies. Production ranges from single parts to small series up to large orders and just-in-time production. Quality assurance is carried out in the company's own testing laboratory, among others with a 3D measuring arm Faro Edge and NDT methods according to MT/PT/VT Level 2; the company is certified to ISO 9001 and manufactures according to DIN EN 1090. An in-house delivery service with its own vehicle fleet rounds off the offering.
