About us
Karl Schöngen KG Kunststoff-Rohrsysteme produces and distributes plastic pipes and fittings for cable protection, sewer pipes for trenchless and open construction methods, as well as perforated drainage pipes. The product range includes cable protection pipes made of PVC and PE-HD, underground cable pipes (SHV) made of PP and PE-HD, jacking pipes as casing pipes as well as solid-wall and perforated pipe systems made of PP-HM. Production is carried out using the extrusion process, which has been operated at the headquarters since the 1970s; in addition, plastic fittings are manufactured. The products are aimed at customers from the energy supply, telecommunications, wastewater disposal and construction supplies sectors. The family business, founded in 1956 and now in its third generation, employs 130 staff at two sites in Salzgitter, Lower Saxony.
