About Karl Widenmann
Karl Widenmann GmbH & Co. KG was founded in 1892 in Heidenheim as a metal and brass foundry and is now in its fourth generation. The company produces cast parts from brass, bronze, aluminium, iron and stainless steel, including castings up to 650 kg. In addition to the foundry, the range of services includes the manufacture of valves and fittings such as bottom drain valves, cleaning hole covers, quick couplings, lubrication systems and measuring devices, as well as just-in-time machining of cast parts in its own turning and fitting shop. Customers are companies from plant and mechanical engineering, pipeline construction and breweries. Quality management is certified to DIN ISO 9001:2015. Since the handover to the Sremic family in 2015, investments have been made in new technologies and the workforce has grown by more than 50%.
