About KARTENschmiede.ch

KARTENschmiede.ch is a card label founded in 2021 by Doris Acklin and Silvia Schmid, based in Herznach in the Fricktal region (canton of Aargau, Switzerland). The product range includes postcards in 105 x 148 mm format (DIN A6 portrait), printed on 400 g/m² offset paper. The designs — humorous, cheeky, serious and poetic sayings in dialect, some featuring animal motifs — are created at home in their own studio, designed by hand and then edited on the computer. The cards are sold via the company's own online shop and distributed through specialist retailers; on request, folded cards featuring existing motifs are also available. Offered themes include, among others, birthdays, Christmas, Easter, wine and beer.
