The Katadyn Group is a Swiss group of companies headquartered in Kemptthal (Zurich), specializing in independent drinking water supply and nutrition. The founding brand Katadyn has been developing and producing drinking water treatment systems for outdoor and marine applications for over 90 years. The portfolio includes portable water filters, reverse osmosis desalination systems (Spectra Watermakers), manual emergency desalinators as well as disinfection products (Micropur, Certisil, Steripen). For industrial customers, the group offers thermoplastic injection molding at its Kemptthal site and food co-packing in Rocklin (California). The product range also includes freeze-dried food (Trek'n Eat, AlpineAire Foods), emergency rations and stove systems from Optimus.
