KATEC Kälte Klima GmbH is a specialised company for refrigeration and air-conditioning technology headquartered in Mühlhausen-Ehingen in southern Germany. The company manufactures air-cooled chillers under its own BORA (PREMIUM/ECONOMY) brand and water-cooled units of the HYDRO (PREMIUM/ECONOMY) series with capacities from 5 to 500 kW, both as standard units available at short notice and as customised special solutions. Following prefabrication, final assembly, adaptation and rigorous testing are carried out by trained refrigeration technicians at the German site. The service portfolio also includes system planning, pipework including insulation and leak testing, installation, commissioning as well as brand-independent maintenance and repair. Customers come from industry and manufacturing, pharmaceuticals and medical technology, food and logistics, data centres and IT, hospitality as well as office and administration. Customers in Turkey are served via a sales office in Istanbul (Esenyurt); deliveries are made to Germany, Austria, Switzerland and Turkey.
