About KaTech
KaTech Ingredient Solutions GmbH is a food technology company specialising in the development and manufacture of individual stabiliser and emulsifier solutions. The company develops customised systems for dairy and dairy alternative products, desserts, milk drinks, plant-based meat and fish alternatives, delicatessen products such as mayonnaise, sauces, dressings and dips, as well as bakery and fruit products. At the Wesenberg production facility, dry food additives and ingredients such as polysaccharides, proteins, fibres, emulsifiers, salts, gelatine, egg products and enzymes are blended and packed into paper sacks with inliners and into big bags. In addition to in-house production, parts of the processes are outsourced to external manufacturers. The offering includes new product development, troubleshooting and cost optimisation; in the pilot plant, technology experts support food manufacturers with product trials. KaTech has been part of Ingredion Incorporated since 2024/2025. In addition to locations in Germany (Wesenberg, Lübeck), the company maintains a sales office in Poland and a Technical Development Suite in the United Kingdom.
