About Katoma
Katoma GmbH, based in Lambrechten (Upper Austria), is a full-service provider for process and plant automation, software development and production data handling. Founded in 2009, the company accompanies projects from consulting and electrical engineering planning through hardware and software engineering (PLC, robot programming, custom software in .NET and web technologies) to assembly and commissioning. Key areas include retrofits and control system modernization, plant linking, safety and energy concepts, logging systems as well as IoT. With its in-house developments KaProSi (collection and evaluation of machine and production data, MDE, OEE, predictive maintenance) and Kalumina (digital assistance system with projection of work instructions directly at the workplace), Katoma opens up production environments for Industry 4.0. Its customers include both end customers and plant manufacturers from industry and manufacturing, especially SMEs, in Austria and Germany. The team combines over 30 years of engineering experience and over 15 years of experience in automation and software.
