Katrin Hootz Architektengesellschaft mbH is an architecture firm founded in 1994 and based at Erzgießereistraße 24 in Munich. The owner is Katrin Hootz, Dipl.Ing.univ. Architect BDA ao. The firm covers a broad range of services: exterior architecture, interior concepts, furniture design, competitions, exhibitions, events and print design. Its clients include, among others, Boesner, a supplier of artists' materials, for whom the branch in the Werksviertel near Munich East Station was designed, as well as Drägerwerk AG, for whom the new corporate headquarters in Lübeck with around 29,550 m² gross floor area was realised in 2008. Another well-known project is the new build of a single-family house (Haus MD) in Munich-Nordschwabing. For the Drägerwerk project, the firm received the BDA Prize in 2011. The firm is listed on MünchenArchitektur and took part in NACHTSCHICHT – Long Night of Architecture Firms in 2015, among other things with an entry for the Isar Philharmonie ideas competition.
