About KAUTASIT
KAUTASIT Gummitechnik Dresden GmbH is a family-run business in its second generation with over 70 years of tradition in sealing technology. The company manufactures custom-made seals, rubber moulded parts, high-pressure gasket sheets, diaphragms, die-cut parts and composite parts of rubber bonded with metal or plastic, made to drawing or sample. Production comprises compression moulding, injection moulding and injection compression moulding processes for small and large series, complemented by die-cut blanks made from elastomers and fibre materials as well as an in-house toolmaking operation that supports projects from sketch to series readiness. With more than 130 specialised rubber compounds – from NR, NBR and EPDM through AEM, VMQ, FKM to FFKM – a hardness range of approximately 25 to 95 Shore A is covered; in addition, food-grade materials compliant with FDA and BfR as well as DVGW-compliant compounds are available. Customers come from hydraulics, pneumatics, sanitary and heating engineering, mechanical engineering and valve manufacturing, fluid technology and pressure measurement technology. An archive with more than 4,000 articles also enables spare parts for legacy systems, including former TGL seals, to be delivered true to the original or reproduced.
