About Kautenburger GmbH

Founded in 1990, Kautenburger GmbH is an industrial automation company based in the Heiligenwies industrial park in Merzig-Brotdorf. Its range of services covers the conception and development as well as the complete manufacturing, assembly and commissioning of fully automated production cells, robotics and handling systems, gripper systems, assembly systems, special machinery, conveyor technology, steel construction and test benches. Particular expertise lies in machining with robots (engraving, milling, grinding, deburring) with CAM programming as well as in the virtual commissioning of complex systems. Conveyor systems are made from steel, stainless steel and plastic; against wear, materials such as Hardox and Dillidur, cladding and hardened elements are used. The systems are also designed for harsh industrial environments such as foundries, forges and the ceramics and refractory industry and carry approvals according to EN 1090 EXC3 and DIN 18800 Class E as well as the status of a certified specialist company under the Water Resources Act (WHG). Customers come, among others, from foundry technology, automotive, the ceramics and refractory industry, the food industry, recycling and the steel industry.
