About Kautschuk Group
Kautschuk Group is an international group of companies headquartered in Undenheim (Rhineland-Palatinate) that supplies specialty chemicals and performance additives to the rubber, tire, plastics, adhesives, coatings, epoxy and textile industries. The product range comprises polyisocyanates (Isodur series, including TDI prepolymers, TDI polyisocyanurates and XDI), latent hardeners and accelerators for epoxy systems, rubber processing additives, specialty zinc oxides, ecological binders, and polymer-bound pre-dispersed rubber additives (Isogran) for tire manufacturing. The group was formed in 2001 through a spin-off from Kautschukgesellschaft mbH, founded in 1926 as a subsidiary of Metallgesellschaft, and is 100% privately owned and independent. Many products are manufactured redundantly at two or more production sites in Europe, Asia and the USA in order to avoid local supply bottlenecks and enable just-in-time deliveries. A global sales network of experienced chemists and engineers provides local technical service; central R&D as well as Regulatory Affairs (REACH) are coordinated in Undenheim. All production plants in Europe, the USA and China are certified to ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015.
