About Kawasaki Deutschland
Kawasaki Motors Europe N.V., Niederlassung Deutschland, is the German headquarters of the Kawasaki brand, located in Friedrichsdorf near Frankfurt am Main. The company sells motorcycles for road, off-road and racing use as well as Jet Ski personal watercraft, ATVs and side-by-side vehicles (Mule) through a network of around 200 authorized dealers in Germany. The offering is complemented by financing and leasing (Kawasaki Finance), insurance products (Kawasaki Insurance), rental (KawasakiRENT), spare parts distribution and service. The Kawasaki Training Academy trains and further educates the dealers' technicians in classrooms and a training workshop at the Friedrichsdorf site. The German branch was founded in 1975; previously Kawasaki motorcycles had been imported via Detlev Louis; since 1980 the headquarters has been located in the company's own building in Friedrichsdorf. The parent company Kawasaki Heavy Industries Ltd. with nearly 40,000 employees produces motorcycles and powersports products as well as rail vehicles, aircraft, ships and industrial plants; manufacturing services are not offered by the German branch.
