About Kawasaki Robotics

Kawasaki Robotics is the Robot Division of Kawasaki Heavy Industries and can look back on more than 50 years of experience in industrial robotics. In 1969, the first commercially produced industrial robot (Unimate) was manufactured in Japan; since then, the company has developed and produced a broad portfolio of industrial robots, from small high-speed arms to heavy-duty robots with payloads of up to 1,500 kg. Fields of application include welding (arc and spot welding, FSJ), handling, assembly, machine tending, palletizing, deburring, painting as well as cleanroom and wafer handling for semiconductor manufacturing. Kawasaki Robotics GmbH, headquartered in Neuss, is the regional headquarters for EMEA and serves Europe, the Middle East and Africa; further subsidiaries exist among others in the UK, France and North America. In addition to robots and systems, Kawasaki Robotics offers services such as maintenance, repair, retrofit, spare parts, training and predictive maintenance with the TREND Manager software.
