KBM is a group of three GmbHs headquartered in Allendorf (Eder), founded in 1998 by Horst Briel, Manfred Klein, Friedrich Koch and Ralf Muth. The business areas include electrical, heating and plumbing technology, including the installation of photovoltaic, solar, wood pellet and heat pump systems for industry and building services. Machine engineering covers grinding machines and grinding systems, film coating machines, and special-purpose machines for zinc die-casting part production, which are sold worldwide via partner companies; in addition, contract machining services are offered along with the stainless steel brand Art Outside (outdoor fitness equipment). As an extended workbench, KBM Fertigung + Montage GmbH performs serial small-part assembly, control cabinet construction, cable assembly, packaging and logistics.
