KBV Effertz was founded in 1995 by Herbert Effertz and specializes in the design, consulting and sales of hardened aeration tools. The company manufactures in its own production facility in Dormagen tools for the aeration and scarification of turf areas, including hollow tines, solid tines, tiny tines, scarifier blades, spring tine rakes and adapter sleeves. Production uses hardened tool material as well as carbide; individual products such as the spring tine rake are powder-coated. The portfolio includes custom-made products and one-off pieces as well as series production. The tools are compatible with machines from leading manufacturers of aeration technology such as Wiedenmann, Toro, John Deere, Jacobsen, Amazone, Fischer and Mataway. Customers come primarily from turf care on golf and sports facilities. In addition to production and sales, the company offers on-site consulting as well as an online shop with B-grade goods and remaining stock.
