About KC-Produkte
KC – Kunststoff-Chemische Produkte GmbH was founded in 1977 and specializes in the protection of electronic assemblies. Its range of services includes contract coating with protective lacquers (selective CNC spraying Stream-Coat®, partial form-cup dip coating Milli-Coat®, dip coating, spray coating with masks, dispensing, thick-film coating, fluoropolymer coating), potting with polyurethane, silicone, epoxy and hotmelt resins as well as dam-and-fill potting, cleaning of assemblies by spray and immersion processes with or without ultrasonics, surface analyses, lacquer stripping and assembly. In addition, the company develops and manufactures coating systems in its own plant engineering division and, in its tool engineering division, coating form cups, CNC holders, cover masks and potting tools made of rubber or metal. Innovative developments include the world's first form-cup coating process, the world's thinnest coating needle and the first solvent-free thick-film lacquers. The approximately 45 to 50 employees work in the specialist departments of contract coating, plant engineering, design, software development and the chemistry laboratory at the headquarters in Friolzheim (Baden-Württemberg), a few kilometers from the A8 motorway Heimsheim junction.

Processes and Materials
Selective CNC spraying
Selective CNC spraying with an extremely slim nozzle for spray-shadow-free coating between densely populated, tall components; can coat, dispense and jet.
Form-cup dip coating
Precise partial dip coating, exactly limited down to 0.8 mm, free of spatter and mist, suitable for thick-film and conventional lacquers.
Polyurethane thick-film lacquer
Thick-film lacquer with high layer thickness for particularly high protection against environmental influences, curing at room temperature or by UV.
Polyurethane resin (potting)
Two-component, elastic casting resin with a wide Shore hardness range, low shrinkage and little reaction heat; machine-applied for large series, manually for small series.
Hotmelt resin (potting)
Single-component resin applied hot with fast curing and excellent moisture protection, in some cases particularly repair-friendly.
Silicone resin (potting)
One- or two-component resin for high temperature resistance and elasticity, processed separately from silicone-free materials.
Epoxy resin (potting)
Two-component, highly filled resin for housing-forming potting with minimized shrinkage.
Fluoropolymer
Fluoropolymer lacquers for dip coating of assemblies.
