About KD Überdachung
KD Überdachung GmbH is a German manufacturer of canopies and sun protection solutions. The company manufactures patio canopies (including KD Alpha, KD SLIDE sliding roof, KD Solar, KD Cube), balcony canopies, entrance canopies, carports, conservatories, garden sheds, barbecue canopies, bicycle shelters, bus stops as well as railings, privacy screens and shading solutions. Products are individually made to customer dimensions and distributed via a network of around 30 locations in Germany with free on-site consultation, kit delivery, financing and installation. Aluminium is mainly used as the material, combined with glass or polycarbonate as roof elements. In addition to private customers from the garden, patio and balcony segment, KD also serves commercial customers, especially the hospitality sector (smoking areas, VIP lounges) as well as public and industrial areas. The company grants a 10-year warranty on KD products. The website was published in 2019; since then several locations have opened, including Heilbronn (2022) and Pforzheim in Niefern-Öschelbronn (2023).
