KEB Fördertechnik GmbH is an owner-managed plant engineering company based in Gaimersheim near Ingolstadt that has been realising conveyor systems for the automotive industry and other sectors since 1979. What began as a pure assembly firm has grown into a provider of complete solutions with high in-house manufacturing depth: design and development, manufacturing, assembly and commissioning as well as training and spare parts supply are all offered from a single source. On its 8,000 m² company premises, more than 50 employees manufacture electrified monorail systems, skid conveyor systems, overhead and circular conveyors (including Power & Free), chain conveyors and special-purpose systems such as transport systems for shot-blasting and painting systems, including structural steelwork. The material focus is on steel and various metallic semi-finished products. Machining is carried out in the company's own machine park through CNC turning and milling to hundredths of a millimetre, laser cutting, plasma cutting, sawing, round bending, punching/nibbling, press braking and welding, complemented by painting up to the fully painted system. Customers include leading automobile manufacturers such as Audi AG, which awarded the company its quality prize in 1997.
