Kebulin-Gesellschaft Kettler GmbH & Co. KG (Kebu), founded in 1933, is a manufacturer of corrosion protection and waterproofing products headquartered in Herten-Westerholt. The product range in the field of pipe protection includes petrolatum, bitumen and rubber/butyl tapes, two-tape systems such as the Kebutyl System C 50-C developed with Ruhrgas, heat-shrink products, GRP special applications (Kebudur) and pipe protection mats. Since 1958 the company has produced bituminous welding membranes for flat roofs and building waterproofing, and since 1988 road engineering products such as bridge membranes, joint sealing strips, hot-pour compounds and repair asphalt based on bitumen and polymer bitumen. Materials include bitumen, petrolatum, butyl rubber, PVC, polypropylene, polyester and polyurethane. In addition to product development, Kebu operates its own service department for pipe coatings in pipeline construction and offers technical consulting as well as tender specifications. The products are manufactured in DIN EN ISO 9001 certified processes and externally tested; customers include industries such as pipeline and long-distance pipeline construction, gas grid supply, building construction and transport infrastructure construction.
