KECKEX GmbH, based in Sulz (Vorarlberg, Austria), develops and manufactures professional machines for chemical-free surface care. The devices use heated water and steam up to 130 °C for thermal weed removal, high-pressure and low-pressure cleaning, chewing gum removal, disinfection, ant control (Tapinoma magnum) and irrigation — completely without chemicals. The portfolio includes self-propelled machines (e.g. KOMEX-JESPI-M13-HD), compact battery-powered systems, modular superstructures with tanks up to 1,600 litres for municipal vehicles, osmosis-based pure water systems for glass, PV and facade cleaning, as well as steam boiler systems. Design and assembly take place entirely in-house in the mechatronics/machine engineering division; a modular system allows coupling with all municipal vehicles and trailers. Customers include municipalities, facility management providers, caretakers, agriculture, gardening and landscaping businesses, as well as private users. Distribution is direct and via sales partners in Austria, Germany and Switzerland.
