About keebwerk.
keebwerk. is a German company that develops and distributes custom mechanical keyboards and accessories for the enthusiast market. The portfolio includes keyboard cases and keycaps made of CNC-machined aluminium, brass weights, proprietary tactile-silent switches (tacit.), EVA foam inserts for sound damping (mute.) as well as sturdy stackable trays. Manufacturing is carried out through the selection of external manufacturers: For the nano. projects, aluminium cases were produced by CNC service providers, the Paragon and Swiss projects were anodised or E-coated, and brass weights received a PVD coating. Switches were produced by injection moulding with proprietary moulds. Distribution runs through the company's own online shop with configurator as well as through a worldwide vendor network (including NovelKeys, DailyClack, CandyKeys, Zfrontier) in a group-buy model. Shipping takes place from Germany; the US market was served via proxy systems. Firmware updates and documentation are maintained in parallel.
