KELDAN GmbH, based in Brügg (CH-2555), Switzerland, develops and manufactures professional underwater video lights and dive lights. The company was founded by Daniel Keller, an MSc graduate in electrical engineering from ETH Zurich, who in the early 1990s first developed his own dive light as a gift for his wife; upon demand, further lights followed, including video lights. The products are based on a precise, science-driven approach to light development, including photometric measurements in the company's own laboratory. KELDAN also distributes the Keldan Filter System for color correction in underwater photography. All products are developed and manufactured in Switzerland ("Designed and manufactured in Switzerland") and come with a 2-year warranty; the lights are used by professionals worldwide.
