About KELLER Pyrometer Systems

KELLER Pyrometer Systems, a division of Keller HCW GmbH headquartered in Ibbenbüren, has been developing and producing pyrometers and infrared thermometers for non-contact, optical temperature measurement in industrial applications since 1967. The portfolio comprises more than 350 device variants – stationary and portable pyrometers (PX, PA, PK, PR, PT, Mikro series), infrared temperature switches, application-specific measurement systems such as CellaAsphalt and CellaCast, as well as mounting combinations and accessories. The measuring instruments cover a temperature range from -30 °C to +3,500 °C and are used, among others, in the steel industry, in foundries, in the glass, cement and ceramics industries, in induction processes, in combustion plants, in semiconductor manufacturing as well as in crystal growth and research. The offering is complemented by application consulting, software (CellaView), IO-Link connectivity, repair, calibration services and spare parts supply. A worldwide sales and service network with distribution partners and application specialists supports customers in selecting and commissioning the measurement systems.

Measurement Principle & Measured Materials

PYRO

Non-contact optical temperature measurement (pyrometry)

Wear-free infrared temperature measurement from -30 °C to +3,500 °C on metals, glass, carbon/graphite, silicon/SiC, asphalt, concrete, cement and lime.

Q

Ratio pyrometer

Measurement principle for applications with varying emissivity and partially obscured measuring field.

IO-Link

IO-Link communication

Connection of the pyrometers to the bus system of a PLC via the digital communication interface.
