Family company since 1857
Keller Unternehmungen is a family-owned construction services company headquartered in Pfungen (Canton of Zurich), founded in 1857 by Johann Jakob Keller as a brickworks. Over five generations, the brick producer has evolved into a system provider in the construction sector with the five business units Fassaden (Facades), Baudienst (Building Services), ImRaum, Immobilien (Real Estate) and MitLehm. In the facades segment, clinker facades made from extruded, water-struck, re-use and acoustic clinkers as well as preton concrete and brick-faced facade elements are offered; the prefabrication of masonry and facade elements is robot-assisted. The offering also includes the refurbishment, cleaning, hydrophobization and graffiti protection of facing brick and clinker facades as well as partition, folding and fire protection walls and room-in-room systems made of aluminium, glass and wood. Through the MitLehm business unit, rammed earth elements (ROBmade) and prefabricated clay brick elements are produced; the company has six of its own Swiss clay pits, including the pit in Frick with a works railway built in 1935. The activities are consolidated in Keller Holding AG with the companies Keller AG Ziegeleien, Keller Systeme AG, Keller Prefadom AG and Tonwerke Keller AG; the production and distribution of backing and facing bricks was transferred to Kubrix AG in 2021.

Re-Use clinker
Reused clinker as a sustainable facade solution.
Acoustic clinker
For sound-absorbing facade and element applications such as the noise barrier in Brugg.
preton concrete and brick-faced elements
Concrete facade elements and clinker-faced elements from in-house prefabrication.
Clay / rammed earth (ROBmade)
Sustainable building material from own clay pits for rammed earth and clay brick elements.
Facing brick (kelesto)
Facing brick in red and white, among others for the Weinfelden brewery.
Aluminium, glass, wood
Materials for partition walls, folding walls, fire protection walls and room-in-room systems (ImRaum).
