About Greimel Säfte

Kelterei Greimel, based in Laufen an der Salzach, is a regional family business that has been processing fruit since 1920. It produces fruit juices, nectars, schorles, fruit and berry wines as well as seasonal winter products such as apple mulled cider, mulled wine and punch. The fruit processed is local fruit from home gardens and traditional orchards – including apple, pear, quince, cherry, currant and elderberry – from the Rupertiwinkel, the Chiemgau and the neighbouring Salzburg Flachgau region. The company also offers fruit intake with contract pressing (Lohnkelterei): customers bring apples, pears or quinces and receive juice made from them. Filling takes place in reusable glass bottles, which are hot-filled, airtight and gas-tight as well as flavour-neutral. Since the move in 2000, the company also includes a beverage store at the Hauspoint 3 location with juices, mineral water, beer, wine and spirits. Several products have been awarded as Biosphere Products of the Biosphere Region Berchtesgadener Land for regionality and sustainability.
