About Kelterei Heil

Kelterei Heil OHG is a family cider mill from Weilmünster-Laubuseschbach in the rural Taunus region of Hesse. The company produces apple wine, cider, pear wine, fruit juices, spritzers, lemonades and iced tea; the range comprises over 60 products, including organic products and seasonal items such as mulled apple wine. In addition to its own production, in autumn the cider mill accepts cider apples from fruit suppliers, offers variety identification for hobby gardeners, and runs fruit tree pruning courses as well as an apple tree planting campaign to promote traditional orchard meadows. Founded in the mid-1940s out of a Laubuseschbach inn, grandfather Heil traded a goat for an apple press. Today the brothers Christof Heil (fruit juice master, graduate beverage technologist) and Martin Heil (graduate in business administration) run the company. The cider mill is a member of the Association of Hessian Apple Wine and Fruit Juice Cider Mills e.V. and has been awarded eleven gold awards by the DLG. Distribution is via direct sales on site and an online shop with delivery only within Germany.
