Materials & Processes
Carbide (tungsten carbide)
Base material of all drills, end mills and countersinks; only tested carbide of the highest quality.
Nano fine-grain carbide
Increases wear resistance and tool life in high-performance and coolant drills.
PCD (polycrystalline diamond)
For demanding cutting applications, including at ATS within the CTC Group.
Steel up to 55 HRC
Machinable workpiece materials of the tools, including hard steel 30–55 HRC.
Stainless steel
Machinable workpiece material up to 68 HRC according to the application matrix.
Aluminium, copper, brass
Proven application materials for micro and universal drills.
Titanium, Inconel (Super Alloys)
Materials for special end mills with high tool life.
CFRP, graphite, plastics
Further machinable materials within the application spectrum.
PVD coating (N-, S/L/A/G-coating)
