About KEMPF
KEMPF GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures laser-based measuring systems for non-contact detection of position, geometry, length, speed and level under difficult environmental conditions. The systems are suitable, among other things, for diffusely reflecting solid and liquid hot surfaces such as steel and glass at surface temperatures up to 1700 °C. In addition to the measuring systems, the company offers large-area LED lighting as well as customized planning, technical implementation, installation and after-sales service from a single source. The core of the product portfolio is the LOKE systems, founded in 1988 by Wilhelm Kempf and now further developed by the family-owned company KEMPF in the third generation. Customers come from the steel industry, glass industry, metal and copper processing, wind power, wood veneer processing and sports (motion measurement). KEMPF GmbH & Co. KG is represented worldwide with branches and sales offices and forms the core of the KEMPF GROUP with subsidiaries and partner companies in laser measurement technology and large-area LED lighting. The company is headquartered in Walldorf/Baden in Baden-Württemberg.
