Kempf GmbH is a mid-sized family-owned company based in Rohrbach (district of Pfaffenhofen an der Ilm, Bavaria) that has specialized for around 50 years in the manufacture of baking trays, baking tins and non-stick coatings. The standard range includes coated and uncoated baking and perforated trays, oven-line trays for automated baking lines, baguette trays, strap pans, snack trays, burger and hotdog trays as well as peelboards; in addition, the company manufactures Stikken and freezer trolleys and realizes custom special designs to customer requirements. Production includes stamping and CNC bending of sheet metal, assembly of trolleys and the application of proprietary non-stick coatings (KG-Silikon 500, KG-Flon fluoropolymer, KG-Keramik 77) on automated painting machines. Customers include the bakery industry, bakeries and manufacturers of automated baking systems. In January 2024 the company moved to the new, state-of-the-art plant site at Reutfeld 1 in Rohrbach; around 130 employees are employed there.
