About the Atelier

The Keramik-Atelier Donhauser in Bad Rothenfelde produces artistic ceramic one-of-a-kind pieces in stoneware. Owner Stefan Donhauser creates figures and sculptures through craft and artistic work, including objects with a height of approximately 45 cm. The natural materials used are clay and glaze, whose elaborate processing technique gives each object its own character, so that every piece emerges as an independent one-of-a-kind work. In addition to freely designed works, commissioned pieces are also produced to customer specifications. Deviations in color, shape, size or surface texture from a reference piece are part of the crafting process. The raw clay works undergo a natural drying period of six to eight weeks; the objects are delivered free to the customer's front door.
