About the Ceramics Workshop

The ceramics workshop Sabine Rosenbach is a sole proprietorship in the field of arts and crafts that has been based in Wiesbaden since 1982. Sabine Rosenbach handcrafts unique vessels and tableware ceramics from stoneware. The unique pieces are fired using the raku firing method, in which fire and smoke blacken the clay body and the craquelé of the glaze burns its characteristic traces into each vessel. In addition to selling the products in the workshop on Oranienstraße and by shipping within Germany, ceramics courses are offered. The works of the ceramic designer have been represented among others at exhibitions in Osnabrück, Koblenz, Berlin, Zagreb and Grottaglie, including the Richard-Bampi-Prize exhibitions and the World Triennial of Small Ceramics.
