About Keramikwerkstatt Ernst
Since 1993, Keramikwerkstatt Ernst has operated a pottery in Babensham near Wasserburg am Inn on the edge of the Chiemgau region. The product range includes hand-thrown tableware, planters, decorative items for home and garden, and, since 2004, ceramic fire bowls. The fire bowls are made from specially developed ceramic raw materials and refractory clay and fired at 1200 °C, enabling them to withstand temperature fluctuations and uneven heat distribution. Due to their low downward heat radiation, they can also be used on sensitive surfaces such as terraces. The matching metal accessories — grill attachment frames, fire bowl feet, pan holders and lids — are manufactured in-house in the company's own metal workshop from annealed and oiled iron and steel. Sales are handled through the company's own online shop to end customers; fire bowls carry a two-year warranty when used properly.
