About Keramischer OFENBAU
Since 1996, Keramischer OFENBAU GmbH has been developing and manufacturing industrial kiln systems for the thermal treatment of ceramic products. The product range includes roller kilns (including the Type eRO, electrically heated), tunnel kilns and shuttle kilns with firing temperatures of 800 to 1,800 °C, lengths up to 150 m and setting widths up to 6 m. The systems are gas-fired or electrically heated and fire tableware, porcelain, sanitary ceramics, structural ceramics, technical ceramics, battery powder for lithium-ion batteries as well as fuel cells (SOFC/SOEC). With the energy-efficient EnerViT firing system, up to 50 % of energy can be saved in continuous kilns; the system is H2-ready and supports up to 100 % hydrogen heating. In addition to new systems, the company offers optimization and conversion of existing kilns, maintenance, spare parts service and training. Around 50 employees work from the company headquarters in Hildesheim and the subsidiary in Noida (India) for customers in more than 45 countries.
