About Axel Tiede
Kerfa GmbH with its Axel Tiede Security Technology division in Hagen has been manufacturing barrier systems since 1986 and, for more than a decade, turnstiles for driveway and access control. The product range includes electro-mechanical barriers (ES0–ES4), manually operated barriers (HS and HZ series), the mobile barrier ES-M as well as turnstiles DK1–DK3 in manual, semi-automatic and automatic versions. Barrier housings and turnstiles are made of stainless steel, alternatively hot-dip galvanized steel and aluminium; booms and accessories complete the systems. Production takes place in-house with a laser processing center, punching press, press brake, welding robots (MIG, MAG, TIG, spot welding) and a powder coating system, complemented by CAD design with 3D visualization. Every barrier is assembled in the factory and subjected to a functional test before delivery. In addition to product manufacturing, the company offers contract sheet metal processing as well as consulting, installation, maintenance, repair, system expansions and access control integration. Areas of application include municipalities, industrial companies, parking lots and parking garages, stadiums, swimming pools, campsites, car washes as well as construction sites and events.
