About Kern Technik
Kern Technik GmbH & Co. KG is a family-owned company based in Schleusingen, Thuringia, specialising in metal processing since 1941. The company develops and manufactures electromagnets such as pressure-tight switching and proportional solenoids for actuating hydraulic valves, non-pressure-tight DC control solenoids, pneumatic solenoid valves, holding magnets and custom special magnets. In addition, the value chain encompasses machined parts production from various metal materials by turning, milling, grinding and drilling on CNC-controlled machine tools and machining centres, in-house toolmaking for special tools, moulds and fixtures, as well as the assembly of mechatronic systems and production equipment. The products are used, among other things, in robots, sports cars, combine harvesters, machine tools and mobile machinery. Environmental considerations are incorporated into development and manufacturing; the environmental management system in accordance with DIN EN ISO 14001 is implemented in the certified management system.
