The Company
Kersten Arealmaschinen GmbH, based in Rees (North Rhine-Westphalia), develops, manufactures and assembles area machines and attachments for all common carrier vehicles – from lawn tractors and ride-on mowers and single-axle machines through to heavy tractors, the Unimog and municipal vehicles. The product range includes sweepers in various working widths, snow ploughs, spreaders, leaf blowers, soil and tiller attachments, mowing equipment, levelling blades as well as mechanical and thermal weed removers. The equipment is designed on the basis of a universal modular system with modularly matched attachments and, because of its complexity, is largely produced to customer specification. The in-house production depth at the Rees plant is over 90%; housings are made of solid, powder-coated steel; engines from renowned manufacturers are used. The machines are sold exclusively through specialised dealers, supplemented by application advice, on-site demonstrations and long-term spare parts availability. With international representatives in, among other countries, England, Belgium, the Netherlands, France, the Czech Republic and Poland, Kersten supplies customers throughout Europe.
