About Kerstner
Founded in Frankfurt in 1983 and today based in Groß-Rohrheim, Kerstner GmbH specializes in temperature-controlled transport and is part of the French Lamberet Group. The company converts vans into refrigerated vehicles for fresh food distribution, deep-freeze and multi-temperature applications – including insulated cargo area lining, interior fittings with stainless steel floors, bulkheads, lashing systems and rails as well as lighting. Kerstner develops and manufactures its own CoolJet refrigeration units (e.g. C103 EA, C106 EA, C206 EA as roof-mounted, underfloor and under-body units), electrically powered or vehicle-engine driven, as well as interior insulation, shrouds and accessories in its own production. Battery-electric van models are also converted for refrigerated use. The conversions are tailored to industries such as butcheries, food retail, catering, pharmaceutical logistics and fleet operators; fleet projects of 5 to 500 vehicles, export projects and conversion kits are part of the offering, as are service, maintenance, pharmaceutical qualification with temperature mapping and ATP/FRC-relevant certifications.
