Kessler GmbH Präzisionswerkzeuge was founded in 1982 by Lothar Kessler in Häusern in the Black Forest and has been active as a partner for all matters relating to cutting tools for more than 30 years. The company sells drilling tools, thread tools, reamers and countersink tools, circular saws, slotting cutters, knurling tools and band saws from renowned manufacturers such as ALESA, DC SWISS, Hartner, BECK, QUICK, WIKUS as well as shop equipment from Bedrunka+Hirth. In addition, Kessler GmbH offers its own tool service: the regrinding of all drilling and milling tools – from twist drills to complex special tools – as well as recoating with BALINIT wear-protection coatings in cooperation with Oerlikon Balzers. Reground and recoated tools achieve the performance of coated new tools. Customers include companies from mechanical engineering, automotive, aerospace, the watch industry and plastics processing. The family-owned company is located at Höchenschwander Straße 4 in 79837 Häusern.

PVD coating from partner Oerlikon Balzers to increase tool life and cutting performance, also for hardened materials up to 63 HRC.

Difficult-to-machine aluminium alloys are machined with special coating systems with low adhesion tendency.
Titanium alloys
Titanium alloys are among the difficult-to-machine materials for which BALINIT coatings with low friction coefficient are used.
Magnesium alloys
Magnesium alloys can be machined in a process-reliable manner with specialized coatings and tools.
Stainless steel and high-alloy steels
High-alloy steels are machined with coated tools made of HSS and carbide.
Inconel 718 / Nimonic 800
Special alloys from the aerospace industry are machined with PM thread taps of geometry S.
Grey cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron
For brittle materials such as grey cast iron GG and GGG, PM thread taps of geometry GG are available.
