kettec is an owner-managed company in Mönchengladbach specializing in drive technology and mechanical engineering. As a manufacturer, the company produces gearing elements such as sprockets and spur gears as well as roller and conveyor chains in small and medium batch sizes, in-house to drawing or sample, including surface treatments and hardening processes. In addition, kettec specializes in automation, implementing linear and gantry portals, Cartesian robotics and special machinery, from design through real-time simulation and software development to manufacturing, assembly and commissioning. Furthermore, the company distributes Yaskawa welding robot cells with Abicor Binzel welding technology. The machine park includes numerous lathes (up to Ø 2,500 mm), gear hobbing machines, gear shaping machines, bevel gear planers, grinding and broaching machines as well as gas-shielded welding systems. The production site on Boettgerstraße comprises around 2,000 m² of production space, approx. 6,000 m² of outdoor area and a crane capacity of 8 t. Around 30 employees supply customers from industry and trade.
