About Kettenreaktion Bikes
Kettenreaktion Bikes is a bicycle manufacturer based in Zell unter Aichelberg (Baden-Württemberg) that produces custom gravel and road bikes as one-off builds. The frame workshop brazes stainless steel and steel frames from Columbus tube sets and combines them with precision-milled in-house components such as dropouts, derailleur hangers, bottom bracket shells and stems. These parts are manufactured at the sister company Precimo GmbH & Co. KG on three- and five-axis milling centres from aluminium, steels, stainless steel and Inconel; CAD design and CAM programming are done with hyperMILL including simulation. Components such as wheels, handlebars, saddles and accessories are sourced regionally from manufacturers in Dresden, Albstadt and Italy. Painting and assembly are carried out according to customer requirements; every bike is individually designed to the rider's seating position, riding characteristics and equipment.
