About KGO GmbH
KGO GmbH, based in Wetter (Ruhr area), is a medium-sized family business specialising in custom plant engineering for thermal process technology. The company develops and manufactures industrial furnace systems and steel structures, in particular furnace housings for the heat treatment of steel components, as well as special systems for applications in environmental and process engineering. The process spectrum includes nitriding, nitrocarburizing, carbonitriding, gas carburizing, hardening under protective gas with quenching in oil or salt, as well as various tempering and annealing processes. Following the acquisition of Schott Hydraulik GmbH in 2000, wax injection machines for investment casting complete the portfolio. KGO covers the entire range of services: from engineering services through manufacturing to delivery, installation and commissioning, supplemented by consulting and service offerings also for third-party systems. Customers include the automotive industry, heat treatment shops, the aerospace industry and mechanical and plant engineering; the export share is 55 percent to Europe, Asia and North and Central America.
